September Theme: Class Procedures - Just as in the classroom, success in PE is built strong with a solid foundation. When well practiced protocols or routines and expectations are established, activity time is maximized...more time on task equates to greater opportunities to master skills. These protocols will reduce managerial issues in class and create a safe learning environment. In September our focus will be on learning class procedures that we will use all year in physical education to maximize activity time (ALT-PE - academic learning time for physical education) for developing motor skills and participating in activities to enhance our fitness. In Covey Leadership terminology: First Things first!
